GSC & 100 Plus Treasure Hunt 2010

Calling for all hunters who love Treasures!

As part of GSC Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project this year, GSC is organizing a Motor Treasure Hunt this October 2, 2010 together with key partners, business associates and sponsors.
This year, GSC is tying up with 100Plus as our strategic partner to take on the role of the title sponsor for the "2010 GSC 100Plus Treasure Hunt".
Most importantly, the purpose of this treasure hunt is to raise funds for the needy and we have selected Hospis Malaysia to be the beneficiary of the ?010 GSC 100Plus Treasure Hunt? Hospis Malaysia offers professional palliative care to the needy and improves the quality of lives of those with life-limiting illnesses, free of charge. Hospis Malaysia depends mainly on donations, and contributions from the generous public and corporate sector to cover the operational expenses (please log on to http://www.hospismalaysia.org/ for the details). Our target is to raise a total of RM 50,000 via this hunt event, out of which GSC underwrites to contribute RM 20,000 to Hospis Malaysia. GSC will also be roping in other partners, sponsors and key business associates to contribute to the treasure hunt.
Also, inspired by the likes of movies/documentaries that highlight global warming, environmental issues and the need to reduce carbon footprints (Avatar, Wall-E, The Day After Tomorrow and Inconvenient Truth), this hunt event will incorporate some 3R elements (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse) to reinforce awareness amongst the participants and public at large.
Not to forget, with over RM 100,000 worth of prizes including holiday packages, mobile phones, netbooks, home appliances, GSC VIP passes and movie vouchers to be won. Sounds exciting? This is an event not to be missed.
